Fully Remote Customer Service Representative We’re a fast‑growing publishing company dedicated to supporting families affected by autism. We are looking for a fully remote Customer Service Representative who can deliver exceptional support, help families navigate our resources, and engage with our community with empathy and precision. Compensation : $12,000.00/yr – $18,000.00/yr (gross; independent contractor). Responsibilities Provide email and chat support, responding promptly and empathetically. Document customer interactions, track issues, and elevate complex inquiries. Respond to social media messages and comments professionally. Attend and present ALN onboarding sessions via Zoom. Perform data entry, summit hosting, and email outreach tasks. Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and the overall customer experience. Communicate clearly during meetings; use camera when possible. Hours & Shifts 8‑hour rotational shifts covering 24/7, including weekends and holidays. Probation (4 months): 9 AM–6 PM UK time (incl. 1‑hour lunch). Post‑probation: 12 PM–9 PM UK time (incl. 1‑hour lunch). 4‑hour weekend shift one or two Saturdays per month, with a half‑day off on a weekday in exchange. Flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team meetings typically at 9‑10 AM UK time (overlap with U.S. time zones). Requirements 2+ years of customer service experience (email, phone, or video). Service‑first mindset and genuine care for helping others. Excellent written and spoken English. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to think on your feet. High attention to detail and comfort following established processes. Confidence working independently and as part of a remote team. Familiarity with customer‑service tools (e.g., Freshdesk) and social media platforms. Quiet workspace, reliable internet, fast computer with webcam. Bonus Points Supervisory or third‑level support/QA experience. Tech‑savvy; quick to learn new systems. Comfortable with video calls and screen shares. Can‑do attitude and willingness to go beyond job description. Benefits $1,000–$15,000 USD per month gross. Full‑time, fully remote position. Mission‑driven, high‑performing team.
