BDev Ventures is a global venture capital firm that invests in B2B software companies across a range of industries, from Seed to Series B stages. As a minority investor, we write checks of up to $3 million USD, providing not only financial backing but also a strategic edge through our proprietary lead generation platform. We partner with startups that are poised to take full advantage of this tool, typically focusing on those with $300K to $600K in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and significant growth potential.

BDev Ventures is the non-strategic investment arm of BairesDev.

As an Investment Associate on the sourcing team at BDev Ventures, you will join a team of startup investors and spend your time sourcing, developing relationships, and investing in top startups in LATAM. You will source great startups that fit our investment criteria, develop initial relationships, and work closely with leadership to pursue potential investment opportunities. You'll represent BDev Ventures in the startup ecosystem, building relationships and promoting our brand, while using your outstanding communication skills to present and influence internal and external stakeholders.

What you will do:

- Source great startups that fit our investment criteria.
- Develop initial relationships with startups and work together with leadership to pursue potential investment opportunities.
- Represent BDev Ventures in the startup ecosystem, building relationships and promoting our brand.
- Use outstanding communication skills to present to and influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Create frequent reviews and reports with financial data.

What we are looking for:

- Experience working in Venture Capital or directly with startups in an adjacent industry (e.g. accelerator).
- Fluent in English and Portuguese.
- Near Native level of English.
- Nice to have: Located in Brazil
