Responsibilities Ensure all operations are conducted in full compliance with approved instructions, procedures and policies. Attend casualty investigations and determine the nature, extent, and cause of damage. Estimate repair costs and compile reports for clients. Deliver reports within the timeline established by management and clients. Liaise with clients to ensure project completion and customer satisfaction. Maintain a billable utilization rate of at least 40%. Ensure adequate surveyor coverage for ongoing or planned work across the region. Assist with business development activities. Assist with the development and implementation of our renewables and maritime operations strategy. Contribute to the mentoring and training of other staff across the region. This position will be based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. You must be legally entitled to live and work in Brazil. This role will require regular offshore attendance. Qualifications Master Mariner (STCW class 1), Chief Engineer (STCW class 1), or equivalent with significant survey or maritime consultancy experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience such as a Civil or Naval Engineering Master’s degree. At least 7 years of relevant experience within the maritime/offshore industry with exposure to vessel and machinery repairs and port development activities. Experience in the renewables sector is beneficial. Knowledge of H&M and P&I claims is beneficial. Benefits Join us and grow with us.
