Our clients include the largest energy, financial and service companies served by our growing team of over 750 industry experts.
**The Role**
**Responsibilities**
- **Account Management & Farming**:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and challenges.
- Identify growth opportunities within assigned accounts to expand product and service usage.
- Develop tailored strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and maximize account potential.
- **Sales and Business Development**:
- Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Drive revenue growth through a consultative sales approach, showcasing the value of Rystad Energy's solutions.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
- **Client Support & Collaboration**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Work closely with internal teams, including client success, research, analytics, and consulting, to deliver superior client experiences.
- Address and resolve client inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly.
- **Market Insights**:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and Rystad Energy's offerings to provide strategic insights to clients.
- **General**:
- Present the company, our research and services in person and web conference
- Build an effective value proposition for each individual client type
- Network at industry events to expand our brand
- Manage interactions through the company's CRM system
- Communicate internally with research, sales colleagues and management on actives and results
- Provide feedback and suggestions on product enhancement and new product ideas
- Ensure new clients are on-boarded properly
- Basic interaction with our external local accounting and legal advisors
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Energy, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in account management, sales, or a client-facing role, preferably in the oil and gas or energy sector.
- Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Negotiating with procurement and/or senior management
- Experience with energy-focused data and software sales related to energy supply analysis, modelling, screening and valuations
- Building value propositions for our databases based upon specific personas and company types
- A strong existing network and the ability to quickly and effectively build new networks
- Using standard Office tools and CRM systems
- Sales pipeline management and robust forecasting
**Requirements**:
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Fluency in English and Portuguese; Spanish is a plus
