Job description
Risk and regulatory compliance for law firms in BR, general compliance, trademark, labor and employment law, contract/ commercial law;
Highly desirable experience in advising Anglo companies;
As above and exceptional academic history & professional work experience, familiarity with both law firms and start-up business models, native equivalent English speaking and drafting;
We focus on creating a "feel good organisation", politeness, no egos, hardworkers and empathetic people;
Advisor on all BR regulatory & compliance issues to our global GC;
Experience from international and / or Brazilian lawfirm;
Experience from international company as in-house counsel;
Legal management, such as internal controls and reports, support clients negotiate, draft, review, manage contracts, documental analysis, resolve disputes, write briefs and legal opinions, and consulting;
Needs to be able to interpret complex technical language, communicate the terms of the contracts they draft and be involved in civil law matters, which requires them to research business statutes and regulations;
Ensure the legality and legal protection of the company in business, processes and operations through risk analysis;
Participate in various operations as a member of multidisciplinary teams contributing with analyses, studies and opinions from the contracts point of view;
Guide and monitor the activities of professionals with a lower level of experience in order to support them in the development of their work;
Control and monitor legal matters, verifying procedures and resources and providing legal support to departments related to the contracts and projects.
Requirement Profile - Knowledge, Skills & Experiences
Top univerisities in Brazil (Trained in US or Europe a plus);
Start-up environment in highly regulated industry;
An expert on local Brazilian regulations;
Excellent behavioural profile;
Excellent English.
