Senior Cybersecurity Strategic Consultant, Mandiant, Google Cloud (English)

Overview

As a Strategic Consultant, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leading organizations, guiding them through complex cybersecurity testing and strategy. You will assess security postures, develop strategic roadmaps, and provide expert guidance on risk management, compliance, and advanced threat protection to help clients achieve cyber resilience in a evolving threat landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop roadmaps and recommendations to drive client enhancements of their cloud security architecture, governance, and standards.
• Identify, incorporate, and articulate cloud security best practices such as DevSecOps strategy, Zero Trust design, and cloud incident response.
• Interface with clients to address concerns, issues, or escalations, and track and drive to closure any issues that impact the service and its value to clients.
• Provide guidance on building and/or maturing cybersecurity programs and the implementation of tools and technologies used for enterprise security.
• Lead execution of consulting engagements and development of deliverables from start to finish, leading teams in analyzing requirements and working closely with other team members to produce prioritized results aligned to client needs and risk profile.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions and programs across security domains.
• 5 years of experience in delivering cyber outcomes, identifying mission risks, and devising solutions.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time as required.
• Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

• Certifications in Cloud platforms.
• Experience implementing industry-leading practices around cyber risks and cloud security for clients' cloud security frameworks using industry standards.
• Experience with Cloud governance.
• Ability to convey governance principles to cloud computing in terms of policies.
• Excellent time and project management skills.

As a Strategic Consultant you will serve as a trusted advisor to leading organizations, guiding them through complex cybersecurity tests. This role involves leveraging Mandiant's cyber strategy consulting and advisory. In this role you will assess security postures, develop strategic roadmaps, and provide expert guidance on risk management, compliance, and advanced threat protection, ensuring clients achieve cyber resilience in an evolving threat landscape.

Our Mandiant Consulting LATAM team combines Mandiant's frontline cyber expertise with Google Cloud's scale and technology, navigating the evolving cybersecurity landscape of Latin America. We help organizations defend against sophisticated threats and deliver security services across LATAM, including leading complex cyber incident responses and proactive security testing.

Delivering offensive security services (red teaming, penetration testing) to proactively identify vulnerabilities before adversaries do. Providing security consulting, helping clients build mature cybersecurity programs aligned with their business objectives and regional regulations. Translating Mandiant's threat intelligence into actionable insights for clients.
