Software Developer Position Overview The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with engineers, QA teams, and solution managers to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that meet business and customer needs. This role involves developing production-ready code, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and continuously improving product performance and reliability. Main Responsibilities: Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to design and implement production-ready code. Identify, research, and resolve production issues, implementing enhancements and bug fixes. Determine feature priorities, delivery schedules, and product timelines in coordination with stakeholders. Integrate POS systems with payment hardware and related configurations. Participate in requirements gathering, documentation, and technical design discussions. Lead non-functional areas of development, including system security, performance, and scalability. Contribute to an Agile/Scrum team, delivering high-quality, shippable software on schedule. Produce and maintain technical documentation as needed. Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration. Key Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: Essential Skills: Proficiency in software development languages, frameworks, and technologies. Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures. Ability to work collaboratively as part of an Agile/Scrum team. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git. Experience with testing, debugging, and troubleshooting software. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
