Job summary
Position can be in any Latin America country, near an AWS office. Buenos Aires, Argentina, São Paulo, Brazil, Santiago, Chile, Bogotá, Columbia, San Jose, Costa Rica or Mexico City, Mexico.

As a Manager of the Proposal Team at AWS, you will have the exciting opportunity to be part of and build a growing team, who lead our effort to deliver game-changing solutions to key AWS prospects and customers. Your responsibilities will focus on recruiting, hiring and developing a team who will deliver Enterprise-caliber proposal management technical writing experience and leadership necessary to effectively support a high growth business.
Additionally, you will set performance goals and metrics, timelines and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress. You should be a manager with exceptional organizational skills, prepared to work in a high-volume environment, with multiple sales teams in a fast paced, dynamic industry. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about the mission, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions in a written context.
Key job responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Proposal Managers for the AWS LatAm Commercial Sales Team.
- Partner with AWS Sales and Customer teams to create RFx responses.
- Hire and develop talents; provide ongoing coaching, motivate, train the team
- Collaborate with AWS leaders on key initiatives
- Develop and build an organizational structure that aligns the talent to the strategic objectives for the group.
- Drive operational excellence. This includes creating systematic processes and procedures, then automating them to improve efficiency in our day-to-day tasks and projects.
- Present regular, accurate reports for management for review
- Develop key metrics and KPIs to measure overall customer experience and provide foundation for continuous improvement
