**Financial Analyst**:**Company**Munich Re**Location**São Paulo, BrazilThe Financial analyst works in the Financial department of Munich Re Brazil, in close collaboration with the finance team and supports on the Accounts Payables/Receivables, Admin expenses processes and monitoring, as well as the Investment related activities of the subsidiary. You will be in close contact with the Munich Re Group Headquarter in Munich and other relevant Hub’s, to ensure Group guidelines, compliance and strategy, as well as supporting other local internal stakeholders, such as Client Management, Claims, Risk Management and other Back Office departments, in projects and initiatives.YOUR JOBActively contribute to the development of MR Brazil operation by:- Monitoring and reporting of investments performance.- Executing the operational and non-operational payment processes.- Reconciliation of the bank accounts.- Preparation of monthly reports;- Maintain communication with suppliers and customers.- Supporting in developing and automatizing processes.- Attending to the external auditors and help to design and implement action plans for mitigating risks in the financial department, as well as other finance related processes.- Participating in various initiatives both in the finance team as well as with business departments.- Supporting integration with the headquarter through the preparation and submission of financial and management reports.YOUR PROFILE- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Administration or Economy.- 5+ years’ experience with finance, preferably in an insurance or reinsurance company, or consulting/audit firm.- Reinsurance Finance/Accounting/Controlling experience is a plus.- Knowledge of IFRS 9 regulatory standards is highly desirable.- Expertise in MS-Office, particularly Excel and PowerBi.- Direct or Indirect experience with taxation in Brazil, a plus.- Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills.- Curious, enthusiastic, with keen interest in understanding our business and market needs in order to support the team in creating solutions for both internal stakeholders as well as business partners.- Hands on approach.- Working understanding of finance modules of an ERP with preference for SAP.- Advanced English.
