Business & Data Program About the mission and the team At SumUp, we believe empowering small businesses goes beyond numbers and processes, it takes courage, creativity, and people who are eager to learn fast. Our Business & Data Program was created for talents who want to build with us: shaping secure, scalable, and innovative financial solutions that drive sustainable growth. This is more than a role. It’s an immersion into our business, diving into real challenges, leading projects that matter, and helping us design strategies that impact millions of entrepreneurs across Brazil and the world. What your journey will look like Here, there’s no script and no “one-size-fits-all” role. From day one, you’ll face real business problems, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and have the freedom to propose ideas that make a difference. Your journey will involve : Working hands‑on with business data to spot trends, risks, and opportunities; Supporting the design and implementation of scalable processes; Collaborating with Product, Risk, Ops, and Finance teams; Applying analytical thinking to solve problems and propose innovative solutions; Presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders; Balancing growth, efficiency, and fraud prevention in high‑impact projects. At the end of the program, you’ll have a transversal view of the business and be ready to take on strategic roles with visible impact at SumUp. Who we’re looking for We’re not looking for someone to just fill a seat, we’re looking for people who thrive in uncertainty, who see challenges as opportunities, and who want to build something meaningful. You’ll be a great fit if you have : Completed degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; Curious, analytical, and proactive problem‑solvers; Comfortable with Excel / Google Sheets (SQL / Python is a plus, but not a must); Advanced English (Spanish is a plus); Motivated to learn quickly and take ownership in a fast‑paced environment, developing real business impact.
