Is looking for a highly organized and technically skilled engineer to help optimize and manage their data platform operations , focusing on user access, permissions, and platform performance . The ideal candidate will also contribute to data engineering efforts as needed.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage user access and permissions across Snowflake, Fivetran, Looker, and other tools
  • Implement and maintain RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) in Snowflake
  • Optimize platform performance and cost
  • Coordinate with DevOps for AWS services and networking
  • Build infrastructure-as-code with Terraform
  • Monitor platform health and ensure observability practices
  • Contribute to data engineering projects during off-peak times
  • Create documentation and operational runbooks
Required Experience & Skills:
  • 3–5 years of experience in data platform operations
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake administration and RBAC
  • Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools
  • Familiarity with AWS and cloud data architecture
  • Knowledge of data pipeline tools and orchestration
  • Basic SQL and Python for automation
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to improve processes
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration
Technical Environment:
  • Platforms: Snowflake, AWS, Terraform
  • Data Tools: Looker, DBT, Airflow
  • Monitoring: Elementary, Slack
  • DevOps/Documentation: GitHub Actions, Jira, Confluence
