Job Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Murex Expert to join our team in a pivotal role.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Murex systems for data mart, pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS, and MDCS aspects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and verify business requirements.
  • Analyse and provide recommendations based on Murex implementation expertise.
  • Foster adherence to client SDLC lifecycle and documentation guidelines.
  • Support IT and business audits, and technology risk assessments.
  • Create and test database and infrastructure modifications.
  • Perform technical reviews of production changes.
  • Document issues and resolutions clearly within Confluence.
  • Enhance Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end-of-day batches.
  • Engage directly with business users across the bank to diagnose critical issues.
  • Resolve issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, and reporting.
  • Communicate detailed issue information to vendors and coordinate testing fixes/solutions.
  • Act as an intermediary between business and vendor teams.
  • Debug and enhance bespoke Java processes supporting Murex.

  • Extensive experience with Murex system development and implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in Java programming language.
  • Familiarity with Control-M scheduling tool.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
