Shopify Developer - CRO Specialist We are seeking a highly skilled Shopify developer to spearhead the rebuild and optimization of our high‑volume direct‑to‑consumer storefront. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building custom Shopify themes, leveraging Liquid, JSON, JS, CSS, and Shopify APIs. They should possess strong frontend fundamentals, including modular Liquid architecture, performance‑first coding, clean components, and deep knowledge of Shopify optimization techniques. Rebuild key templates (Home, Collection, PDP, Cart, Checkout) with a mobile‑first, conversion‑focused approach. Implement conversion rate optimization / UI enhancements: trust signals, sticky ATC, bundles, urgency, reviews, upsells, cart optimization. Replace heavy apps with custom code when possible to increase performance + reduce cost. Responsibilities also include achieving load speeds under 2.5 seconds across top pages, streamlining theme resources by removing unused scripts, oversized media, and duplicate app calls, implementing code splitting, minification + compression, defer / async scripts, lazy loading, image optimization via Shopify CDN, maintaining a clean, version‑controlled deployment workflow, diagnosing and fixing checkout drop‑offs + friction points (Shop Pay, PayPal, Prime, etc.), improving ATC rate, product discovery, clarity, and mobile usability, implementing A/B testing variants from the CRO team or proposing own ideas, configuring and maintaining GA4 event tracking (ATC, IC, upsells, search behaviour, scroll depth, etc.), setting up session recording and heatmaps (Hotjar or Clarity), interpreting funnels with the team and providing actionable recommendations, weekly updates on conversion rate trends, AOV impacts, funnel drop‑off changes, site issues or speed regressions, maintaining clear documentation and async communication with product, ops, and design teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
