Job Title: Operator - Packaging Bag Line - Second Shift

Job Summary

Second Shift - 3:00PM - 11:00PM; overtime as required.

Responsibilities
  • Performs functions directed toward meeting packaging goals for customer orders by bagging product on packaging lines.
  • Rotates to other positions at the pack lines as needed.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pound bags.
  • Properly sets up machines for startup and verifies ingredients being bagged.
  • Verifies batch with Supervisor as needed and ensures packaging line standards are met.
  • Fills bags with product to required weight; loads boxes/bags onto pallets; assists in inventory and cycle counts.
  • Maintains product integrity and keeps area and equipment clean; follows LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment.
  • Completes paperwork as needed and performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of packaging experience in a food manufacturing environment.
