Overview

Senior Smart Contract Engineer, Solidity — join Chainlink Labs to develop impactful smart contracts that secure Chainlink CCIP and enable on-chain features. You will work with engineering, operations, finance, marketing, and other teams to release easy-to-use smart contract driven products. Your core team will be composed of smart contract and software engineers, and you will report to the engineering lead.

Your Impact
  • Owning large components of the smart contract architecture that secures Chainlink CCIP
  • Actively level up yourself and your peers in Solidity and smart contract development
  • Collaborate with fellow engineers to build the end-to-end experience for your products
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth deployment and management of your dApps
  • Partner with the research team to build practical and user-friendly products
  • Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to deliver products that meet user needs and business constraints
Qualifications
  • At least 5-8+ years of professional engineering experience in a collaborative, product-driven environment
  • At least 3+ years of smart contract development experience
  • Deployed multiple smart contracts to Ethereum Mainnet or an EVM-compatible chain with substantial user funds
  • Deep understanding of Solidity and the EVM
  • Active participant in the blockchain ecosystem as a user
  • Experience owning multi-month projects, including communication of progress, dependencies, and risk mitigation with stakeholders and partners
  • Computer science fundamentals and systems design
  • Experience building dApps end to end
