**JOB DESCRIPTION**
As an Equity Research Analyst, you will support the coverage of the Retail & Healthcare stocks, with strong emphasis on the region. This position is fully in-person, based in Brazil. You will work closely with the Senior Analysts based in São Paulo, contributing to the development of investment recommendations through detailed financial analysis and valuation modeling.
**Responsibilities**:
- Synthesize, assess, and maintain industry data.
- Maintenance and further development of macro-models.
- Prepare regular earnings previews and work on earnings reviews.
- Build, update and maintain financial and valuation models.
- Draft reports/notes on relevant investment themes and events.
- Substantial contribution to regular in-depth product reports.
- Regular liaison with global JPMC analysts, macro and strategy team, and sales/trading team
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or related fields
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Experience in Equity Research or related fields
- Proven experience with financial statement analysis
- Advanced Excel, financial modelling and accounting skills.
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong organizational and multitasking skills
- CFA certification is a plus
- Available to work in-person at our São Paulo office
