The Manager Global Technical Services will lead a team of Solution Engineers. You and your team will be responsible for delivering services to our AMER customers.You will partner closely with the AMER Sales and Field Engineering organization to determine the right set of engagements to drive growth and efficiency. You will report to the Area Vice President, Global Technical Services.
**The impact you will have with us**:
- Manage hiring and building the Global Technical Services team in AMER scaling the organization and driving efficiency.
- Build a motivated collaborative culture within a hyper-growth team to embody and promote Databrick's customer-obsessed, teamwork and diverse culture.
- Manage the distribution and allocation of work across the team.
- Build partnerships with cross functional stakeholders across Field Engineering and Sales to position services that drive customer growth and product adoption.
- Conduct operational review of the AMER team to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and outcomes.
**What we look for**:
- Experience in building a team of successful professionals in Data and AI or Cloud in a technology or consulting organization.
- Have experience scaling and mentoring field or technical teams from scratch at hyper-growth speed.
- Knowledgeable in and passionate about data-driven decisions, AI, and Cloud software models
- Great at instituting processes for technical field members to lead efficiency
- Technical background either in Data & AI or Cloud technologies
