We are seeking a Senior Accountant with 4+ years of accounting experience to join our client's finance and accounting organization. As a critical member of the team, you will ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of the company's financial operations, spanning Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), General Ledger (GL), Sales Tax, Payroll, and financial statement generation. You will have the autonomy to make important decisions about systems and processes while receiving support and guidance along the way. The team is supportive, highly talented, and always encouraged to communicate ideas with the executive team. Conduct and manage accounting functions for our growing software firm Journal entries, accruals, A/R, A/P, and account reconciliations Sales tax and payroll preparation Financial and SOC audit assistance Financial statement generation Cash management, budgeting, and forecasting activities Required Experience: Excellent English verbal and written skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 4+ years of accounting experience GAAP proficiency Experience with accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office Suite products Excellent organizational skills Proficiency operating within accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar) A drive to continue learning, specifically about the energy business and the client's software Ability to prioritize, multitask, and problem-solve effectively Responsible individual with a strong work ethic and analytical mind to play a key administrative role Self-starter and resourceful Ability to work independently or as part of a team Proven experience working effectively in a vibrant, dynamic startup environment Trustworthy, team-oriented, and transparent Desired Experience: CPA or progress toward CPA (or equivalent certification) Experience in a SaaS, technology, or software company
