**_Position Overview _**:
- The Solutions Engineering intern will support our Business Development team in designing and demonstrating technology solutions that drive impact for social sector organizations. _
- As a Solutions Engineering intern, you’ll assist in building and maintaining demo systems, conducting research, creating client-facing materials, and gaining hands-on experience with pre-sales strategy and technical consulting. You’ll work closely with experienced team members and have opportunities to contribute to real client projects and proposals. _

**_Primary Responsibilities: _**:
- _Support the sales and solutions engineering team in building demo systems and creating prototypes based on client needs _
- _Help prepare materials for client presentations and proposals _
- _Participate in internal meetings to learn how Vera tailors Salesforce solutions for nonprofits and social enterprises _
- _Assist in researching technology products, tools, and relevant sector trends (e.g., M&E, grant management, fundraising) _
- _Contribute to maintaining and updating generic demo systems for different solution types offered by Vera _
- _Observe and assist with client discovery sessions alongside the solutions engineering team _
- _Support in gathering feedback from prospects or partners and provide insights to the team**_What You’ll Learn: _***:
- _Exposure to the Salesforce platform, especially Nonprofit Cloud and Vera’s _Amp Impact _product _
- _Practical experience in configuring solutions, client engagement, and technical sales strategy _
- _Deeper understanding of how nonprofits use technology to manage data and drive impact _
**Qualifications and Experience**:
**_Essential: _**:
- _Demonstrated interest in working with social sector clients or experience in a social sector organization _
- _Strong aptitude for using technology to manage and visualize data (i.e. developing reports & dashboards) _
- _Strong English communication skills - Exceptional written & verbal communication skills used to draft technical documentation, translate challenging concepts into simple, yet accurate terms, and collaborate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders _
- _Enthusiasm for working in a small, dynamic, international environment, often collaborating with colleagues cross-team and cross-hub _
- _Ability to carry tasks forward independently or collaboratively with the reporting team _
- _Meticulousness, punctuality, and outstanding attention to detail _
**_Desired: _**:
- _Familiarity with data analysis software (Power BI, Tableau, Stata etc.) _
- _Previous experience with CRM and other data management tools/platforms, particularly Salesforce _
- _Bachelor’s degree - what you studied isn’t critical; what you’re passionate about is _
- _Proficiency in a relevant second language (Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic) _
