Senior Linux Systems Engineer / SRE

What You'll Do

We are looking for a professional to take on a multidisciplinary role. You will take ownership of several critical domains, including:

  • Linux Systems
  • CloudStack and Ceph
  • SRE (Site Reliability Engineering)
  • Networking and DDoS
  • Automation and Integration

Key Responsibilities

  • Linux Systems:
    Advanced administration, troubleshooting, and kernel/performance tuning in mission-critical environments.
  • CloudStack and Ceph:
    Operation, upgrades, and capacity planning for high-availability, multi-tenant environments.
  • SRE:
    Defining SLIs/SLOs, managing on-call rotations, incident automation, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Networking and DDoS:
    BGP/OSPF/FlowSpec configuration, DDoS attack mitigation, and automation of security playbooks.
  • Automation and Integration:
    CI/CD implementation, working with Ansible/Terraform, and advanced monitoring (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana).

Qualifications

  • Senior Linux Experience:
    Deep knowledge of Linux systems, networking, CloudStack/OpenStack, and Ceph.
  • Automation and CI/CD:
    Proficiency with tools like Ansible/Terraform and experience with continuous integration pipelines.
  • Observability:
    Experience managing mission-critical environments with advanced monitoring.
  • Desired experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and service meshes.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.G., RHCE, LFCS, CCNP, JNCIP) in infrastructure and networking is a plus.
