Backend Development Leadership Role Join our organization as a Backend Development Leader to design, develop and maintain robust backend solutions that power our access control systems. As a crucial member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions on time. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development of backend applications using Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot and Spring MVC. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic. Write clean, maintainable and efficient code. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from design to deployment. Troubleshoot, debug and optimize backend systems. Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the application. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current backend technologies and best practices. Participate in code reviews, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement. Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers, helping them navigate technical challenges and grow in their careers. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field. 6+ years of professional experience in backend development. Proven experience with Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot and Spring MVC. Familiarity with Git versioning systems. Personal qualities: Strong leadership and mentorship skills. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proactive and self-motivated, with a drive to take initiative and lead projects. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team. Continuous improvement mindset, with a commitment to staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies and practices. Expected outcome and deliverables: Over the next 3-5 years, the Backend Development Leader will contribute significantly to the development and optimization of our backend systems, ensuring they are robust, scalable and efficient. The role will play a key part in enhancing the functionality of our access control solutions, delivering high-quality software that meets the needs of our customers and stays ahead of industry trends.
