Role

Job Captain to lead multidisciplinary modeling teams across complex architectural and engineering projects. This role requires strong command of BIM software, leadership, and a strategic mindset to drive quality and coordination across project stages.

You will supervise and mentor modelers, ensure adherence to best practices, project standards, and timelines. You will identify missing or conflicting information, manage RFIs and RFCs efficiently, and conduct in-depth Quality Control reviews across assigned disciplines. You will influence modeling strategies and ensure seamless collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor modelers; ensure adherence to standards, practices, and project timelines.
• Identify missing or conflicting information; manage RFIs and RFCs efficiently.
• Conduct thorough Quality Control reviews across disciplines and drive modeling strategy improvements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.

Minimum Requirements

• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, with ability to communicate fluently with native and non-native speakers.
• Engineering degree (civil or mechanical); candidates with architecture background considered if they have extensive MEP modeling and coordination experience.
• 5+ years of experience using Revit and Navisworks for large-scale MEP projects.
• Experience modeling HVAC and plumbing (commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential) including process piping, ductwork, sheet metal, mechanical equipment, domestic water, sanitary drainage, gray water, stormwater, medical gases, compressed air lines, pumps, heaters, and related components.
• Experience coordinating or clash-detecting through Navisworks; knowledge of BIM coordination, clash reports, QAQC, and model accuracy.
