What You Will Be Doing- Drive business performance by partnering with the Managing Director to set performance targets, monitor KPIs, assess commercial risk, and intervene to ensure objectives are met or exceeded in SPM/LATAM and Brazil.
- Challenge the business and its stakeholders to ensure decision-making rigor.
- Provide commercial and financial insights across various areas including sales effectiveness, customer profitability, asset efficiency, pricing, and risk management.
- Lead strategic and commercial planning, including review planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with a strong understanding of business drivers.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and strategize accordingly.
- Identify and lead innovation and change initiatives.
- Support implementation and monitoring of business initiatives.
- Evaluate investment opportunities with financial expertise.
- Manage external relationships with suppliers and customers for optimal outcomes.
- Participate actively in the Brazilian leadership and Latin America Finance teams, influencing organizational future.
- Ensure strong controls via timely MAPS submissions and risk management.
- Act as a key contact for major distributors on financial matters.
- Degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting; relevant qualifications considered.
- Practical understanding of statutory tax environments and regulations.
- Post-graduate degree in business management/administration advantageous.
- Experience in senior commercial finance roles; industry experience in Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals preferred.
- Strong communication skills in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
- Ability to influence and coach across multiple initiatives and process complex data.
