The Team:

You will report to the Analytical Manager for Global Scale Ratings, Latin America, and be working closely with a number of highly experienced industry specialists, not only in Latin America but globally.

The Global Infrastructure Practice was established by S&P Global Ratings to expand our ratings franchise in an area of strong growth and to leverage our significant global infrastructure expertise across the full range of infrastructure and energy asset classes. Analytical team members reside in many different locations globally and work on a diverse range of transactions applying different ratings criteria.

In the position, you will be working as part of the Global Infrastructure Ratings group at S&P Global Ratings. With the guidance of a Director, a qualified senior analyst typically maintains direct analytical responsibility for a portfolio of rated issuers within the transportation, energy, power, renewables and utilities asset classes.

As a Senior Analyst , you will have direct analytical responsibility for a portfolio of credits, and be responsible for conducting credit and financial analysis, reviewing, researching and managing data/transaction documents, running credit models, analyzing cash flows, and preparing analytical documentation. You will be expected to provide analytical reasoning in committees and discussion within the team, and to act proactively toward resolution of issues, to investigate root causes for problems, solving and be knowledgeable on the appropriate criteria. You will develop and maintain a deep understanding of the industry trends and issues. As new asset classes evolve, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of different proposals.

English language skills must be excellent in order to communicate properly and precisely within the organization and publish research as discussed above. Spanish language skills will also be highly desirable.
