We are looking for a HR Plant Manager to join our team in our plant in Brazil (Sete Lagoas/MG) . The chosen candidate will be responsible to execute HR strategy, deal with recruitment, training, and development processes, managing local trends and needs building the best team in line with budget, guidelines and local labor laws and regulations. The role creates a diverse and inclusive ecosystem by leveraging talent management, succession planning and accurate total rewards for the assigned Plant, acting in full alignment with the leader above as well as the coherent with the organization model and HR policy and guidelines. HR Manager ensures accurate execution of cost analysis in line with guidance and leads HR administration and payroll processes being a unique point of contact for labor industrial relations and disputes at the plant level.

Activities

  • Defines, develops, and implements HR programs and plans on annual basis for the assigned sites in alignment HR Strategy defined by CHRO and in alignment with the HR Corporate directives, industrial plan, and budget.
  • Manages staff and recruiting processes, implements compensation and reward strategy, and ensures consistency with the organizational model, in full collaboration with the Regional HR, HR Center of Expertise and CHRO.
  • Analyses the country-specific trends on a regular basis, sharing with regional/corporate actionable inputs and insights and contributing to the definition of sustainable and competitive actions and strategic targets.
  • Ensures the execution of corporate global and local guidelines and procedures, implements promptly and effectively corrective and preventive actions to ensure full alignment and compliance with local law.
  • Executes performance management, training, and development program defined by HR Center of Expertise and provides them prompt and accurate feedback to ensure the effective and sustainable roll-out for the sites assigned.
  • Recruits, develops and retains resources, cultivates high potential talents, enables succession plans.
  • Plans how to cover replaces/covers vacant local positions, implements job enlargement, rotation, and enrichment in line with legal requirements, procedures, budget, business and organization model, and Company guidelines.
  • Creates an inclusive environment and adopts and open-door, encourages employees to speak up as key of success.
  • Provides guidance on HR processes, solves issues in line with legal, HR& Organization and business strategy.
  • Ensures the employee relationship management respects the relevant legal and Labour contract requirements, development, compensation, and benefit guidelines practices, in adherence with the company governances.
  • Provides the plant with HR services, including administration, payroll, and industrial relations, collaborating with the HR team and implementing tools and fair labor practices per labor law.
  • Elaborates and monitors the budget, supervising the related processes at the local level aimed at ensuring cost-effectiveness and company sustainable business growth.
  • Oversees and keeps HR costs effectiveness under control promptly identifying opportunities to exploit, managing risk appropriately, and setting up a contingency plan to foster HR strategy deployment.
  • Manages, coaches, and develops assigned staff, ensuring effective talent management and career path
  • Interacts regularly and effectively communicates and networks with key internal and external stakeholders, to deliver assigned targets as well as to ensure an effective alignment of company objectives and strategic goals.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • 10 years proven experience gained in Human Resources management and +5 years as HR Plant Manager, within international companies
  • Proficiency in English (speaking and writing in English is 40% of daily routine)
  • Graduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or Psychology
  • Knowledge of Talent Management and succession planning techniques
  • Knowledge of Compensation and Total Reward techniques, methodologies, tools
  • Knowledge of HR Management, employment-related laws, trade unions organizing and management
  • Knowledge of human resources information systems (HRIS)
  • Change Management
  • Knowledge of Product and Production: process, features techniques
  • Data Analysis and performances metrics: methodologies, techniques, tools and applications
  • Budget management and cost control knowledge
  • Live in Sete Lagoas (work in presence is mandatory)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge in Excel and Power BI
  • Experience with WCM
  • Experience with ISO standards
