You will be part of the founding team of Eco Habitat, a pioneering sustainable housing and environmental regeneration project in Nova Friburgo, Brazil. Your work will lay the foundation for families and individuals to access dignified, sustainable homes while volunteers from around the world learn bioconstruction and agroforestry practices. What you'll do Define objectives for the 90-day pilot project and success indicators (e.g., complete 1 bioconstruction module, implement 0.25 ha of agroforestry systems, train 12 volunteers). Create and publish volunteer job descriptions on platforms like Idealist, Volunteer World, and Workaway. Structure volunteer selection, onboarding, and monitoring processes. Develop fundraising materials (pitch deck, one-pager, videos) and quarterly donation and partnership goals. Participate in weekly coordination meetings (25 minutes) with the other 5 founders. Required skills Strategic thinking and ability to plan with measurable goals. Strong written communication for creating fundraising materials and job descriptions. Familiarity with volunteer platforms or experience in people management. Desired skills Knowledge of sustainability, permaculture, or solidarity economy. Time commitment 6 hours per week (flexible schedule), for at least 12 weeks (pilot phase). Participation in weekly founder meetings (25 minutes, preferably Mondays). Location and environment Remote or in-person in Nova Friburgo, RJ, Brazil. Optional participation in coliving (shared house, cost up to R$700/month + R$85/week for collective food).
