The LATAM Transport department is looking for Transport Specialist to ensure components are delivered ensuring Safe, timely and cost-effective as planned and in compliance with Customs and TAX regulations where Vestas operates, overseeing and managing materials and equipment within LATAM with focus in Brazil.
The general purpose is to oversee and supervise customs and general cargo procedures of wind turbines and their components within wind sites and factories in Brazil and other countries in LATAM.
- Has a robust understanding of Transport & Customs, clearly explaining facts, practices, policies to others within the organization or to external parties
- Taking action to ensure knowledge and development ensuring the quality of the own work and of others in the team
- Is able to adapt and exchange information to reach agreement through flexibility and compromise. Sharing and communicating knowledge and innovation
- Coordinate Inbound Transport Team on all deliveries attending service and factories demands ensuring shipments are properly safety, on track and reported
- Provide guidance, assistance and advice to the internal clients in support of their operations
