Software Architect (Hybrid Model, Sao Bernardo do Campo) Key Areas of Responsibility Lead the design and architecture of complex software solutions for radar and defense systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, defense requirements, and mission‑critical reliability. Define and enforce software architecture principles, best practices, and processes across multiple projects and teams. Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and design patterns that optimize system performance, safety, and scalability. Oversee the integration of software components with hardware systems, ensuring seamless interoperability and robustness. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Develop system and software architectural specifications, high‑level designs, and detailed documentation for radar and defense solutions. Ensure traceability and alignment between system requirements and software architectures, facilitating verification and validation activities. Lead design reviews, feasibility analyses, and architectural risk assessments. Define end‑to‑end software development processes, with emphasis on maintainability, testability, and security. Oversee code quality across projects, guiding teams in refactoring and optimization of legacy systems. Develop and enforce rigorous testing protocols, including system simulations, integration tests, and compliance with defense standards. Monitor industry trends and technological advances in radar, defense, and related domains; introduce innovative solutions and new technologies as appropriate. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and knowledge sharing within engineering teams. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Proven expertise in architecture and development using C++ and other object‑oriented programming languages (e.g., Java). Strong foundation in procedural languages (such as C). Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) and modern DevOps practices. Extensive background in Linux environments (RedHat‑like or Rocky) with a focus on deployment in embedded and real‑time systems. Deep understanding of radar technologies, defense systems requirements, and real‑time software constraints. Advanced English.
