We are seeking an experienced Events Specialist to spearhead our presence and engagement initiatives within the local market.

This role is crucial in building relationships with key organizations, driving brand visibility, fostering community ties, and supporting strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strong, collaborative relationships with external organizations, including shopping malls, local businesses, industry associations, and community groups.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities aligning with regional goals and brand values.
  • Act as primary point of contact and ambassador for events, ensuring consistent messaging and positive representation.

Event Planning & Execution

  • Design, plan, and execute diverse regional events, activations, and promotional projects, often in collaboration with other partners.
  • Oversee logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor coordination, staffing, permits, and materials.
  • Evaluate event effectiveness, deliver exceptional experiences for attendees and partners.

Budget Management & Optimization

  • Develop, manage, and track budgets for events and partnership initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and partners to secure favorable terms and maximize ROI.
  • Provide regular financial reporting and analysis on event expenditures.

Regional Representation & Communication

  • Represent at regional industry events, meetings, and community gatherings, networking effectively to enhance brand perception and uncover new opportunities.
  • Develop compelling presentations about regional activities to various stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging and promotion of regional activities.

Project Management

  • Lead complex projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders, such as setting up stands, events, or joint marketing campaigns with shopping malls/industry associations.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring timely completion and adherence to scope.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, implementing solutions to challenges arising during planning or execution.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Track and analyze KPIs for all events and partnerships, providing comprehensive post-event reports and insights.
  • Utilize data to evaluate initiative success and inform future strategy development.

Local Travel Requirements

  • Frequent local travel will be required to attend meetings and oversee event execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Event Management, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 5 years of proven experience in event management, community relations, and/or partnership development, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and optimizing resources for events.
  • Strong track record of building and nurturing successful relationships with diverse organizations and stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management skills, with ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently, from conception to completion.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to deliver engaging presentations.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and highly organized, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Willingness and ability to travel locally as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the e-commerce or fashion retail industry.
  • Familiarity with the regional market landscape, including key shopping centers and local organizations.
  • Experience presenting to large groups or external partners.
