Overview

We are seeking an experiencedLead Testing & Quality Senior Engineerto drive the validation, reliability, and compliance of our hardware and software solutions. This role is crucial in ensuring our mission-critical systems meet the highest performance, security, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in software testing methodologies, with special focus on embedded systems and AI/ML pipelines.
  • Proficiency intest automation frameworks(e.g., Selenium, PyTest, Robot Framework, or custom CI/CD pipelines).
  • Strong experience withcross-compilation toolchainsfor embedded systems (e.g., OpenWRT, Yocto, Buildroot).
  • Hands-on experience withIoT, networking, and industrial communication protocols(MQTT, Modbus, OPC-UA, LTE/5G, TSN).
  • Familiarity withcybersecurity and penetration testingmethodologies.
  • Experience withcloud-based testing environments(AWS, Azure) andcontainerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge ofISO 9001, Six Sigma, and other quality management systemsis a plus.
  • Programming experience inPython, Java, or C++for test scripting and automation.
  • Knowledge ofautomated test toolsandAI-driven test optimization.
  • Experience withrailway standards testingandsafety validation for rail systems.
  • Experience inindustrial automation, mining technology, or automotive-grade hardware validation.
  • Knowledge ofsafety-critical systems and regulatory frameworks.
  • Familiarity withmachine learning model validationin real-time operational environments.
  • Strongproblem-solving mindsetand ability to work in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
  • Effective communication and ability to work withcross-functional teams(engineering, operations, product, and field teams).
  • Ability to lead aquality-driven culturewithin the organization.
Responsibilities
  • Define and implementcomprehensive testing strategiesfor hardware, firmware, and software applications in industrial mining environments.
  • Leadtest automationefforts for real-time AI, IoT, and edge computing solutions.
  • Develop and executeperformance, security, and reliability testingfor mission-critical systems.
  • Establish and enforcequality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) processesacross development teams.
  • Collaborate withhardware, firmware, and software engineersto enhance testability and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Overseefield testing validation campaigns, includingenvironmental stress testing (temperature, humidity, vibration) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) validation.
  • Define and monitorkey quality metrics (MTBF, MTTR, defect rates, failure analysis)to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance withsafety and mission-critical standards, includingISO 26262 (Functional Safety), AEC-Q100 (Automotive Electronics), IEC 61508 (Safety of Electrical/Electronic/Programmable Systems), and IEC 62443 (Industrial Cybersecurity).
  • Ensure compliance withrailway standards and testing procedures, includingEN 50126 (RAMS for railway applications), EN 50128 (Software for railway control systems), and EN 50129 (Safety-related electronic systems in railway signaling).
  • UtilizeAI-driven toolsto optimize test coverage and automate defect detection.
  • Managedata collection and analyticsto improve testing efficiency and predict system failures.
  • Ensure compliance withcybersecurity best practices, especially inconnected mining infrastructure.
  • Managetest labs, tools, and automation frameworksto optimize validation workflows.
  • Work withcustomers, regulators, and internal stakeholdersto address quality-related inquiries and certifications.
