**What is the purpose**
Deliver the most competitive and sustainable Supply Chains in support of Brazil R&D Technology Program, enabled by strong collaboration with internal/external stakeholders and suppliers to deliver commercially innovative solutions, in compliance with Brazil regulations. Develop commercial and negotiation strategies with stakeholders and lead negotiations within the scope of the business. The delivery requires C&P involvement from ideation to value creation through profitable deployment by supporting relevant technology platforms with their innovation sourcing strategies and the delivery of their technology value funnels.
**Supply Chain Advisor Technology**
**What’s the role?**
As the Supply Chain Advisor Technology, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Commerciality - commercial support for Brazil R&D Technology Program, responsible for end-to-end commercial deliverables in close collaboration with R&D Project managers Responsible for ensuring a fit for purpose business case at the onset of the project to contract negotiation and post award contract management (PACM). These areas range from emerging technologies where Shell must determine how to derive value, to areas of established technology where Shell has built, and must maintain, a competitive advantage over our peers.
- Deliver substantial value to Shell Businesses and Functions by:
- Contracting and procuring research and services as well as developing and managing local agreements working with the CP Managers and Global Category Manager as appropriate
- Developing and executing commercial contract strategies as well as operationalizing and commercially managing operational agreements
- Ensure all commercial activity is fully aligned with the Global Category Management commercial strategies and Tail spend principles
- Manage one-off Purchase Orders
- Reduce/rationalize number of Contracts/Suppliers
- Deliver end-to-end cost savings/value contributions impacting Shell bottom line
- Deal Delivery - lead the development of commercial strategies within remit, raising the bar for creative and competitive commercial strategies. Develop sourcing strategies and financial estimates. As requested, lead and manage the RFI, RFQ, and RFP process, and drive negotiations in accordance with the CMCP.
- Technology deployment - support via C&P colleagues, including CP in Business and integrated with CP supplier and category managers.
- Stakeholder impact - build reputation as a trusted commercial advisor to key internal stakeholders in the Technology Programs, the Business and Project teams. Professionally manage internal and external stakeholders through the technology investment cycle, especially driving commerciality. Have an ability to deploy a variety of influencing styles to obtain their collaboration and commitment on the commercial angle
