What to Expect Oversee coding operations and ensure adequate staffing for consistent team coverage Monitor coding quality and compliance with corporate standards and regulations Develop tactical plans and operating budgets to meet strategic goals Provide educational resources and support to the coding team Participate in business expansion initiatives and identify new opportunities Required Qualifications Minimum of seven (7) years of recent experience in HIM and/or coding leadership Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or a relevant field with at least 10 years in a comparable position Current RHIT or RHIA certification Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to build team dynamics Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications Experience leading large coding teams in complex multi-hospital systems CCS credential Competency in all facets of coding related to inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and professional fee services Compensation and Benefits Salary up to $155,000 annually Annual Incentive Plan bonus of 10%-25% based on role level Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 20 days of Manager Time Off per year Opportunities for professional development through workshops and coding seminars Supportive work environment with a focus on team collaboration #HealthcareServices #CodingDirector #CareerOpportunity #CompetitivePay #ProfessionalDevelopment We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
