Job Title: On-Site IT Support Specialist Job Description We are seeking a skilled and proactive On-Site IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support for our local infrastructure, users, and critical systems. This role ensures seamless IT operations, continuity of services, and timely resolution of incidents during the designated support period. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related issues at the site, performing preventive maintenance and ensuring system stability. Responsibilities include providing on-site support for resolving technical incidents related to infrastructure, systems, and end-user devices, monitoring IT equipment and infrastructure maintenance, and offering desktop/user support for local staff. Additionally, this role involves conducting preventive maintenance activities such as security checks, system health checks, and patch updates, as well as monitoring and coordinating critical service requests with remote teams and vendors as needed. The specialist will also assist in escalating complex incidents to higher-level support teams while ensuring proper follow-through. Required Skills and Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in IT support, helpdesk, or desktop engineering roles. They should have strong knowledge of Windows/Mac operating systems, networking basics, hardware, and peripherals. Familiarity with ITSM ticketing systems and incident management processes is also essential. Key qualifications include ability to conduct preventive maintenance and security checks, strong communication skills, and ability to interact with end-users at all levels. Detail-oriented individuals with strong documentation and reporting skills are highly preferred. Professional certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL, or Microsoft/CCNA) are advantageous but not mandatory.
