Remote Financial Accountant Opportunity This is a great chance to work with top-tier US clients and enhance your skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis. As a remote Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for following industry standards for processing and implementing day-to-day transactional accounting to produce complete and accurate financial statements. You will also need to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, their staff, colleagues, and managers. Processing invoices, applying payments, and reconciling transactions accurately and efficiently. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts in our system. Preparing and reconciling schedules for various accounts such as AR, AP, payroll accruals, loans, and fixed assets. Mapping accounts, syncing data, and generating financial reports using our templates. Analyze and review month-over-month income statements, making necessary adjustments. Utilizing our system for bank feeds, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable processing, generating reports, and posting journal entries. Requirements 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance doing month-end close processes, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions. Education: Accounting or Finance degree preferred. Technical Knowledge: Strong proficiency in our system (or similar ERP) and Excel. Strong background in process enhancement, process implementation, and system optimization. Communication: Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong understanding of debits/credits, journal entries, and accrual-based accounting. US GAAP knowledge required; IFRS familiarity is a plus.
