Cyber Security Incident Responder

We’re looking for a Cyber Security Incident Responder to join WPP and lead the organization’s response to all severity levels (Sev 1–4) of security incidents. Responsibilities Effectively oversee the management, investigation, and forensic analysis of security incidents. Collaborate with team members to optimize incident response processes, procedures, and approaches. Continuously review, enhance, and maintain security incident response procedures and playbooks. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external agencies. Participate in and enhance regular cyber security incident simulations and exercises. Conduct threat analysis, generate incident reports, and participate in post‑incident reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement. Qualifications Experience managing security incidents within a large multinational organization. Experience driving security investigations and forensics. Experience working within a high‑pressure security incident response team. Experience working with suppliers, external stakeholders, and internal teams and developing strong and trusting working relationships. Ability to communicate effectively with senior management. Computer Science degree (desirable but not essential). CISSP or similar. Certified Incident Handler or similar. Certified Forensic Analyst or similar.
