In this strategic sales role, you’ll engage with senior government decision-makers to co-create solutions that address public sector challenges. You’ll drive consultative sales motions, build pipeline through repeatable industry scenarios, and align Microsoft’s technologies with Brazil’s public sector priorities.

Overview

What You’ll Do

  • Lead strategic engagements with government executives across Public Safety & Justice, Public Finance, Social Services and Government Operations.
  • Translate industry insights into actionable sales strategies and partner-led solutions.
  • Collaborate with account teams, partners, and Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD) to accelerate pipeline creation and opportunity development.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, shaping digital transformation narratives and influencing policy-level decisions.
Responsibilities
  • Collaboration and Partner Management: plan, orchestrate and execute customer opportunities with BSLs, BDMs, PDMs, ISD, partners and external stakeholders; design and illustrate envisioned solutions (pilots, proofs of concept, rapid prototyping, MVP); drive GTM strategy and partner collaboration; engage with commercial/legal teams to formalize partnerships; work with GPS and other partner ecosystems to recruit and educate partners; drive opportunities on top of the Microsoft cloud.
  • Industry Expertise: build industry knowledge, obtain relevant certifications, monitor trends, privacy considerations, and competitors; provide feedback to teams and evangelize industry strategies; contribute to industry communities and share learnings with colleagues.
  • Planning and Engagement: develop multi-horizon plans and roadmaps; build relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders; define engagement strategies and procurement relationships; guide cross-team orchestration to deliver industry-aligned plans; navigate complex environments to create business value-case.
  • Sales Execution: identify customer needs and readiness, land value propositions, open opportunities, and develop repeatable use cases; act as trusted advisor to shape decisions with solid ROI and industry-based narratives; drive large-scale digital transformation opportunities and ensure delivery alignment post-sale; accelerate adoption of Microsoft technologies across accounts.
  • Strategic Leadership: articulate industry value, influence executives, build industry-focused visions, and lead discussions on end-state and competitive positioning; drive pipeline within industry/territory and collaborate with ATUs and partners to convert opportunities into deals; contribute to market partnerships and provide guidance to account teams.
Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Health Sciences, Supply Chain, Education, Business or related field AND 5+ years customer-facing experience in relevant areas OR Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years customer-facing experience; or equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Similar degree and experience thresholds with 7+ to 10+ years depending on education; 5+ years of people management and/or leadership experience.
