About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Data Architect to lead our data engineering efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining large-scale data processing systems using Scala and Cloud AWS technologies.

As a Chief Data Architect, your primary focus will be on building and implementing scalable data architectures that meet our business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design and develop solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable data architectures using Scala and Cloud AWS technologies
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data processing systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions
  • Ensure seamless integration with existing systems
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar
  • At least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering
  • Experience with Scala and Cloud AWS technologies
  • Fluency in both Portuguese and English (minimum B2 level)

Note

Please note that relocation from Brazil to Portugal is required for this role.
