Project Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. The primary goal of this project is to design and implement a solution for processing big data volumes, integrating it with the current architecture.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a robust and scalable ETL/ELT pipeline, extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources into data lakes or data warehouses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data models, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models, to support efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Develop and maintain complex queries, data transformations, and performance tuning on cloud-based data storages using SQL.
- Integrate metadata and governance processes into cloud-based data platforms.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, data engineers, data scientists, and other cross-functional teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing data models, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Extensive experience with building robust and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Proficiency in SQL to perform complex queries, data transformations, and performance tuning on cloud-based data storages.
- Experience integrating metadata and governance processes into cloud-based data platforms.
- Certification in Azure, Databricks, or other relevant technologies is an added advantage.
