ScyllaDB is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to support Pre-Sales and Proof-of-Concept activities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional who enjoys a fast-paced, growing company environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect Engagements – Collaborate with the ScyllaDB sales team to drive prospect value and adoption of ScyllaDB technologies. Responsible for the "Technical Win" of opportunities.
- Solutions Enablement – Provide technical reviews and deployment recommendations for Scylla in production. Assist prospects in setting up, maintaining, and benchmarking Scylla during Proof-of-Concept phases.
- Solutions Creation – Develop and document solutions using Scylla. Create integration documents and benchmarks with third-party tools.
- Training – Develop training materials and deliver training sessions for Scylla users and customers.
- Collaboration – Work with other Solution Architects and serve as a liaison between customers and product management/engineering teams.
- 4+ years of experience in Pre-Sale/SA roles
- Excellent knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Experience working in a startup environment
- 2+ years of NoSQL database deployment/management, including data modeling and application deployment (Cassandra/Datastax, MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
- Proficiency in modern scripting languages (Python, Node.js) and/or programming languages (C/C++, Java, C#)
- Experience with Spark, Kafka, Time Series, and Graph Databases
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with staff, colleagues, and customers
- Deep technical understanding of products
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
