Job Summary

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of national marketing programs, initiatives and materials dedicated to the disease awareness and positioning of the product in Brazil

The position works cross-functionally with internal departments and external resources on the execution of strategic marketing initiatives.

The Marketing Manager supports adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as appropriated.

Essential Functions

• Contributes to strategic and tactical marketing planning and its execution nationally.
• Identify opportunities of improving existing marketing campaigns and develop pragmatic solutions within budgetary constraints.
• Establish strategies of branding, positioning and competition to mitigate other key players in the market based in the launch and post launch of the product.
• Communicate with LATAM Marketing Director about marketing initiatives and project metrics, as well as to brainstorm fresh strategies
• Ensures compliance of marketing activities with all regulatory requirements. Works collaboratively with legal, medical and regulatory review committees for the development of all marketing materials.
• Supports PTC’s commercial/country teams by facilitating the local implementation of marketing materials and overseeing marketing material inventory. Responsible for maintaining a SharePoint site for these purposes.
• Leads marketing-related projects. This includes, but may not be limited to, planning and coordinating internal/external meetings, management of market research, multichannel strategy and finding projects., as well as the follow up of metrics and results in a frequent basis.
• Supports the planning and execution of key events and international congresses.
• Facilitates budget management and tracking.
• Develops and maintains project status reports.
• Ensures strong collaboration cross-functionally and with internal team(s) to delivery aligned initiatives related to marketing contents

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field (MBA preferred) and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a marketing capacity .
• Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related environment is required
• Experience in rare diseases ‘segment would be desirable
• Fluent in English (verbal and written) is essential
• Familiarity with online content marketing and social media development strategies
• Travel availability
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as required, in a fast-paced, matrixed, team environment consisting of internal and external team members.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
• Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving, decision-making skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent planning, organization and project management skills.
