Product Development Finance Manager

At General Motors we pride ourselves on designing, building and selling the world's best vehicles. For this, we are currently seeking for a Product Development Finance Manager who will p rovide both operational and strategic support to business partners & functional leadership. Supervise team of analysts and act as the primary financial spokesperson for the represented business partner. He or she will be in charge of providing financial support to team of new product development, including electric vehicle programs.
**KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Manage a multi-functional team acting as financial focal point for the South America region for new programs development.
- Prepare financial reports with reliable conclusions that management can use to implement more effective operational strategies in the long-term plan, including different types of Business - Regionally produced vehicles, imported vehicles, Electric Vehicles, JV, 3rd parties and CKD kits.
- Manage integration of Engineering budget and CAPEX team into product business case, coordinating and improving program capex/cash forecast accuracy.
- Support Product Programs Teams by assisting the organization with high quality and timely responses to inquiries for financial information.
- Work cross-functionally to identify profit improvement and risk mitigation opportunities.
- Support global and local program teams to improve program business cases thru product/marketing and cost efficiency solutions.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:
- Graduated in Business Administration, Finance, Economy, Engineering
- Proficient in English and Protuguese
- Advanced in Spanish language (preferred)
- Leadership experience
- Knowledge and Experience in Financal departments
- Knowledge of products, market and competitive environment
