CloudHQ has state-of-the-art data center sites located on two Northern Virginia campuses, as well as London, Frankfurt, Paris, and São Paulo, and we anticipate exponential growth over the next several years both in the US and abroad.CloudHQ is seeking two Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Managers who will be responsible for the Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental management function on mission critical construction projects located in Brazil, to be based in Paulínia, São Paulo. You will be responsible for improving the health and safety of our data centers and advancing our safety culture. You will work closely with experts in construction, operations, logistics, compliance, and human resources to further CloudHQ’s health safety program. You will partner with CloudHQ employees as well as contractors to achieve health and safety goals and improve our already strong safety culture. You will also take care of the environmental requirements needed to be abided by in a construction project. As CloudHQ increases data capacity you will partner with construction General Contractors and Trade Partners to ensure risks are identified and mitigated. You will work in a fast-paced environment where our operations are rapidly changing, advocating safe changes in the face of new infrastructure, new tools, and new products/processes.CloudHQ is a leader in operational excellence and this position is pivotal to ensuring that we continue to lead the industry in this area with particular emphasis on executing and reporting on all EHS areas within the business. The role requires autonomy and will be responsible for monitoring processes that include:- Brazilian codes for Occupational Health and Safety programs (NR)- Brazilian Federal and State regulations for Environmental Management programs- Electrical Safety (Energized Electrical Work, Arc Flash, NPFA 70E)- Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout), including familiarity of OSHA- Occupational Noise Exposure & Control- Heat Stress & Illness Prevention- Exposure Assessment (Industrial Hygiene)- Emergency Response Planning- Working at Heights- Confined Space Entry- Heavy Material Handling- Powered Industrial Trucks (Forklifts)- Construction-Related Risks (Cranes/Rigging, Trenching/Shoring, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs), etc.)- Fire/Life Safety- Hazardous Substances Handling- Waste Management- Ergonomics- Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC)- Risk Assessment and Mitigation methodology- 3rd Party Safety Supplier Management**Essential Job Functions**- Serve as the primary CloudHQ Project EHS representative for assigned CloudHQ data center.- Drive a standardized and harmonized approach across the Project to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.- Implement EHS standards and principles, policies, and practices including but not limited to; safety management systems, training, risk assessments, assist with industrial hygiene assessments, and applicable safety regulations.- Conduct health and safety audits of operational data centers and active construction sites to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements as well as life safety requirements- Ensure compliance and implementation of national and international (OSHA) health and safety programs that meet or exceed regulatory requirements.- Develop and/or review health and safety plans for on-site emergencies, business continuity, and other unique events.- Maintain adequate safety record keeping and data integrity.- Perform data trend analysis to present to cluster leadership to support business and safety initiatives.- Consult and partner with the CloudHQ EHS compliance team for interpretations and guidance.- Identify risks and partner with the General Contractor, Trade Partners, or CloudHQ Development Project Managers to remediate via the hierarchy of controls.- Interact with our customers delivering health and safety guidance.- Participation in EHS projects and additional duties as required.- Requirements:** Education**:Bachelors Degree in Engineering (preferred),degree in Occupational Health and Safety.**Certification**: Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) certification (OHST, CHST, ASP, or CSP), NEBOSH Diploma, Occupational Health certification or equivalent national/internationally recognized EHS qualification or certification(differential)**Experience**: minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in EHS is required, with demonstrated knowledge and experience controlling the broad spectrum of risks across multiple sites.- Must have working knowledge in Environmental Engineering and Management as it applies to Federal and State regulations for construction projects and works, such as licensing processes and req
