Infrastructure Engineer Position

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy cloud-native systems on AWS for optimal performance.
  • Own Kubernetes clusters: architecture, automation, observability, and performance optimization.
  • Build Terraform modules and GitOps pipelines to streamline deployments.
  • Create CI/CD pipelines that are fast, reliable, and safely deliver new features to production.
  • Automate processes using the best tools available.
  • Collaborate directly with product engineers, security teams, and leadership to deliver infrastructure that drives business growth.
  • Mentor colleagues, review code, and contribute to establishing best practices as the team grows.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • A strong track record of success with LAMP (Linux Apache Mysql PHP).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • A deep understanding of Linux, containers, networking, and cloud-native security.
  • The ability to scale systems to handle high-volume, high-availability workloads.
  • Proficiency in scripting or coding - Python, Go, or Bash are all acceptable.
  • An eye for automation and eliminating manual tasks wherever possible.
  • Startup or growth-stage experience is a bonus.
  • Excellent asynchronous communication skills.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience building infrastructure for AI/ML systems, SaaS, or telco-scale applications.
  • Familiarity with tools like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Vault, Elastic Stack, or EKS.
  • Leadership experience or mentorship of junior engineers.
  • Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect, CKA, or Azure Admin.
