Information Security Generalist – Senior Associate role at CFO Tech IT Global Services. 100% remote.
At CFO Tech, we are looking for an Information Security Generalist - Sr to join the team of a major client.
Job location: Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina
Responsibilities- Perform IT General Controls testing
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and control monitoring procedures to confirm that controls are in place and operating effectively
- Review audit evidence and draw appropriate conclusions
- Reassess immature or deficient controls to determine if the root cause has been corrected and material risks mitigated
- Monitor control implementation continuously and assess system risks
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to perform multiple tasks with appropriate autonomy
- Proactively identify and communicate issues that require escalation to the appropriate leader
- Communicate findings to management and gain alignment on recommended solutions and action plans to address the identified findings with stakeholders
- Accommodate colleagues and stakeholders across multiple global time zones to timely and efficiently complete work
- Navigate a matrixed organization
- Demonstrate qualities in the following areas: contribute to a positive and motivating environment, respect work-life quality of team members, receive and act on candid performance feedback, and keep leadership informed of task progress
- Minimum Years of Experience: Combination of 2 year(s) progressive professional roles involving information security or IT controls auditing, consulting and/or implementing IT solutions
- Certifications: CISA, CISM, or CRISC; CISSP, or CCSP
- Degree: Bachelor Degree (preferred)
- Knowledge/Skills: Strong knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGCs), cybersecurity principles, and cloud environments
- Familiarity with information security, IT, and risk management frameworks, standards and guidelines (e.g. NIST, COBIT, ISO 27001)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
