We are looking for an Engineering Project Buyer to join our team.If you are looking for a new challenge and with great prospects for growth in your career, come join us.The work site is Fundão (preferably) or Lisbon.- Support stakeholders with input/information to Steering Committees meeting and decision- Leading and managing suppliers during the full RFx process- Reporting to country Manager- Ensure deliverables from suppliers- Negotiate technical changes between contract and actual project needs, ensuring alignment to cost objectives- Defining the strategic Procurement approach- Influencing and supporting our internal stakeholders with regards to their Procurement needs- Managing relationships with key suppliers- Management of contract negotiations with support from the Legal team- Yearly vendors evaluation- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in equipment manufacturing environment.- Export/import experience with customs clearance process- Engineering Degree/Diploma/ITE in Mechanical Engineering/Purchasing/Supply Chain- Ability to form and lead cross functional teams in international environment- Analytical skills with ability to capture total economic impact of multiple business alternatives- Ability to manage conflicting business interests- This position requires a highly motivated individual with excellent problem solving skills, good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to multi-task- Fluent English- Knowledge in MS Office (advanced level in Excel) is preferred.
