Customer at TRACTIAN The Customer team is the driving factor behind lifetime value, retention, and expansion at Tractian. We focus on expanding inside existing customers, cross-selling to different products, and building even stronger relationships with our current accounts. Our Enterprise customers include Fortune 500 companies such as Hyundai, Bosch, Unilever, Suzano, PepsiCo, and others. Every team member directly affects our clients' results. You will be in contact with clients to understand their needs and help create solutions to improve their maintenance processes. What You'll Do As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and optimizing technical proposals to ensure alignment with the company’s capabilities and technical requirements, supporting proper field installation and system integration. You will manage the implementation process, including integrating sensors, PLCs, and frequency inverters, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and meet client demands. Additionally, you will oversee the go-live phase, validate system functionality, and provide post-implementation technical support. Responsibilities Review and adjust technical proposals developed by the Sales team, ensuring they align with the company's capabilities and technical specifications, supporting technical implementation and correct field installation; Verify the compatibility of system integrations (sensors, PLCs, Frequency Inverters, etc.) within the client’s environment, ensuring robustness and scalability; Participate in client meetings to understand their demands and translate these needs into viable technical solutions; Manage the implementation schedule, ensuring timely completion and proper system functioning; Supervise the application and go-live phase, validating the correct functioning of sensors, PLCs, and monitoring systems; Collaborate with Data Science, Hardware, and Platform teams to develop and optimize features that add value; Provide post-implementation technical support to resolve issues or make adjustments; Work with other teams like Technical Support and Product Engineering to ensure solutions align with company capabilities and innovations; Identify opportunities for upsell or improvements based on technical insights and customer feedback. Requirements +5 Years of Industrial Experience, preferably with a background in Industrial Automation and Project Management; Experience with programming PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi); Knowledge of SCADA, DCS, or other control systems; Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, EtherNet/IP, Profibus, OPC UA; Experience with instrumentation and sensor sizing (level, pressure, flow, humidity, etc.); Ability to work with measurement and control systems for electrical and mechanical variables; Willingness to travel and conduct technical demonstrations; Experience managing technical projects with sales teams; Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present solutions for complex problems.
