Compliance Analyst (Bandeiras) – Adyen Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. Card Scheme Compliance Analyst In order to build a sustainable business, we need to know our customers are compliant with Card Scheme regulations and our risk appetite. The LATAM Scheme Operations team is based in São Paulo and collaborates with global teams – Compliance, Sales, Account Management, Card Payments, Underwriting, and Product – to optimize risk‑control efforts, streamline processes, and meet compliance goals. What You’ll Do Take ownership of operational merchant risk management processes, such as registration of Payment Facilitators, Marketplaces, and Wallets with Card Schemes. Embed a risk culture via proactive engagement, training, and collaboration to support the three‑lines‑of‑defense model. Stay current with Card Network requirements and Adyen product expansions, translating updates into an operational strategy and providing guidance to merchants and internal teams. Set up new processes to monitor the merchant portfolio against card‑scheme rules. Drive process enhancements and workflow automation to reduce manual effort. Manage non‑compliance notifications, working with merchants, account managers, and card‑schemes to resolve cases swiftly. Help internal teams align with global objectives to ensure controlled, sustainable business growth. Who You Are Previous experience in payment industries, including acquirers, fintechs, or card‑network companies, is required. Fluent in Portuguese and English (Spanish is a plus). Minimum three years of relevant experience with Card Scheme Compliance. Understanding of technical bulletins, scheme manuals, and payment‑message field requirements. Experience in governance, project management, and leading multi‑stakeholder initiatives. Availability to work three days in person at Morumbi, São Paulo. A keen eye for process improvement, scalable solutions, and a proactive mindset. Strong prioritization, judgment, flexibility, and decisive decision‑making skills. Detail‑oriented, organised, analytical, and critical. Self‑starter capable of thriving in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
