What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Perform hospital coding for various medical records and services
  • Ensure compliance with coding standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize coding processes
  • Participate in training sessions and staff meetings as needed
  • Maintain up-to-date coding knowledge and certifications
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of 2 years of hospital coding experience
  • Required coding certification: CIC, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA
  • Must reside in Wisconsin, Iowa, or Minnesota, or be willing to relocate
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience with electronic health record systems
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and coding guidelines
  • Additional certifications in specialized coding areas
