The individual in this role is responsible for leading software development teams to develop new and exciting products for KnowBe4's customers, alongside other engineers in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manages other Software Engineering Managers
- May also lead a software team that develops software using the KnowBe4 Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Methodologies
- Translates KnowBe4's strategic goals into operational plans
- Provides coordination across functional and divisional boundaries
- US Only: Hire, promote, discipline, and fire subordinate employees, or the employee's suggestions and recommendations as to the hiring, promoting, disciplining, and firing subordinate employees is given particular weight
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- BS or equivalent plus 10 years technical experience
- MS or equivalent plus 5 years technical experience
- Ph.D. or equivalent plus 4 years technical experience
- 8 years experience managing software development teams
- Ability to work in fast paged agile development environment
