Accounting Professional Opportunity This role involves supporting our finance team with daily accounting tasks, including accounts receivable and payable management, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries. We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to work with QuickBooks Desktop or Online to record transactions, categorize expenses, and maintain accurate financial data. The ideal candidate will assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, and support inventory-related tasks, such as cost of goods sold reporting, manufacturing inputs, and product data reconciliation. The successful Staff Accountant will also be responsible for pulling reports and data from Shopify and other internal systems, preparing Excel reports, spreadsheets, and basic financial analyses, and collaborating with operations to understand manufacturing costs and workflows. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with daily accounting tasks, including A/R and A/P management, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.- Work with QuickBooks Desktop or Online to record transactions, categorize expenses, and maintain accurate financial data.- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, and assist with inventory-related tasks.- Pull reports and data from Shopify and other internal systems, prepare Excel reports, and collaborate with operations to understand manufacturing costs and workflows. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.- 1+ years of experience in accounting, preferably with QuickBooks Desktop or Online.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
